I am a huge horror fan and i am so disappointed. I must say i have seen even bollywood does better than this(in horror genre. Please don't waste your precious time watching this and who ends a movie so bluntly. I literally waited till all the credits rolled expecting if there were any after credit scenes but nope. nada. i'd rather scratch my eyeballs out than watch this kinda movie again.

It's not the best one ever made, but I enjoyed the characters (who were likeable) I liked the direction, the acting (aside from a few enunciation issues early in the film. The scares were well done and a few of them really worked. The plot, unlike the 2004 version, was cohesive and made sense as to its progression. I say it's worth a watch and it's a good way to start 2020 for horror. That said, it's not going to be for everyone and please take the rating to heart.

You know their plan really was genius: Get one evil curse to fight another evil curse! But there is one underlying problem behind it. What do they do about the one who wins? Hero: Hooray! The Grudge/Ring Girl killed the other one! Heroine: Yaaa. what about the first one then? Hero. Oh s. I hadn't thought of that. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH- dies. If you want to pay to watch an hour and half to watch 4 different timelines go on at the same time with nothing happening in any of them, then watch this movie. There's no good plot, crappy characters, and no good scares. This movie was so boring and predictable I thought about leaving with the other half of the theater. Avoid at all costs.
