I honestly can't understand the over the top positive reviews of this movie. It's an anxiety inducing script and soundtrack, I've never seen so many people leave a theatre at the halfway point or less. The band is amazing. I enjoyed most of the trailers but the Charlie's Angels one was nauseating; and that was just a clip. Oh well. I suppose it can be consigned to the Ghost-busters 2 rack... What the Wachowskis did for action flicks and the Coen Bros did for crime drama, the Safdie Bros do for neo-noir. Their style of direction does keep you on edge for the finale.
I'd give it a 10 star rating but that is for great, uplifting movies with a moral. 9 is for great, tragic movies with a moral (Noirs) and 8 is good to great movie.

My biggest complaint is that Howards death could've been more emotional and that the score didn't really fit with some of the scenes however, these aren't big issues as the movie makes it work.
